Interestingly, a similar example used on D Day by 6th Naval Beach Battalion Beachmaster Joe Vaghi is in the collection of the First Division Museum at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois. This helmet was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan
